How to Apply Press-On Nails

Good preparation is the difference between a rushed application and a clean, secure fit.

1. Choose the sizes first.Lay out a nail for each finger before using glue. The press-on should cover the natural nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the skin.
2. Wash and dry your hands.Remove lotion, oil, and residue. Nails should be completely dry before application.
3. Gently prepare the nail surface.Push back the cuticle carefully and lightly buff away surface shine if the product instructions recommend it. Remove dust afterward.
4. Use an alcohol wipe.Wipe each natural nail to remove remaining oil. Allow it to dry fully.
5. Apply the adhesive.Follow the nail-glue package directions. Avoid skin and do not overfill the nail.
6. Place and press.Align the press-on near the cuticle without touching skin, lower it into position, and hold firm pressure for the time stated by the adhesive manufacturer.
7. Protect the fresh set.Avoid soaking your hands or applying oils immediately after application.
